Michael Rimmer was always in control of the race having a slight lead at the bell from Darren St Clair. This stretched down the back straight and he ran out a comfortable winner in 1:47.16.
Behind him was Joe Thomas (Cardiff). He was second with 300m to run, got caught by the pack, but managed to get out down the home straight to pick up some notable scalps.

Mens 1500m
Tom Lancashire pulled away from the field throughout the race to win in 3:39.73

Deidre Bryne held off a very fast finishing Rachael Ogden in 4:17.35 to 4:17.70.

Mens 3000m
Adam Bowden was initially dragged away from the pack by the pacemaker, but with 3 laps to go had been pulled back. He still led into the final lap, but with 250m to go James Nolan started his kick for home and didn't look like getting caught. Bowden was passed for second in the last 50m by Bulter (Netherlands)

Womens 3000m
Jessica Sparke took a comfortable win in the 3000m having always been in charge. Second was Juliett Potter who had been battling with Una English, until the Irish runner dropped out with 2 laps to go.
